Digitalised TV tramission started

I dont know how TV signals are transmitting in your areas ,we here have some changes in TV transmission with effect from June12,2009.We do have HD digital TV channels and analog TV channels.
Initially both analog and digital TV free to air transmissions can be tuned in this city.But Recently,whole TV station broasting had been changed to digital transmission.Some even have high definition signal for better quality of picture and sound.
You need converter box to transform your exsiting analog TV to be able to keep tuning digital signals.Government is delivering 40 bucks rebate cards to all requested applicants or household.So if a digital converter box cost 59.99$,you would have to pay 9.99$ from your pocket.
Hope you do have digital High definition channels transmission already some times ago.Anyway this is I can share with you all freinds.Totally i can tune 18 channels free to air TV stations here from my place.
